2020 Mazda CX-30 vs. CX-3 Release Dates

The 2020 Mazda CX-30 released late in 2019 and is available now in Colorado Springs at our Mazda dealership. However, the 2020 CX-3 is not released yet but is expected to arrive at dealerships soon. The 2019 CX-3 arrived at dealerships in May 2018 so we are well overdue for the release of the new 2020 Mazda CX-3.

2020 Mazda CX-30 vs. CX-3 MSRP

Mazda planned for the new CX-30 to take a slot between the existing CX-3 and CX-5, so we expected the pricing to be somewhere in between. The starting price of a 2019 Mazda CX-3 is just $20,390, so it would make sense if the CX-30 was just a tad more. The 2020 Mazda CX-30 MSRP starts at $21,900.

2020 Mazda CX-30 vs. CX-3 Key Differences

The biggest difference between the two models is the additional space in a 2020 Mazda CX-30. While they both fit 5 passengers, you can expect more cargo room with the new CX-30. The interior in the new CX-30 is a bit more refreshed with a slightly newer, upscale feel over the CX-3 as well.

However, the 2020 Mazda CX-30 achieves 25 city/33 highway mpg with the FWD drivetrain and 24 city/31 highway mpg with the AWD drivetrain.
