It has a higher starting price of $24,995 and comes with five available trims, so drivers have a slightly more limited selection to choose from.

2024 Subaru Crosstrek

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek offers lots of interior space. However, only the  Crosstrek Limited offers leather-trimmed upholstery, so drivers should expect full-cloth seats on all other available trims. Remote engine start, Apple Carplay, and Android Auto are available on all trims, but keyless entry systems and push-button start are not available on the Base. The Base trim has a 7-inch center display, but an 11.6-inch one is available in other trims. While the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek may have some elevated features, you must keep in mind that they do not come standard, and you can expect a rather ordinary ride when selecting the Base trim.

While these are all excellent features, they are not unique to the Subaru Crosstrek, and you can enjoy the same ones on the 2023 Mazda CX-30 for a cheaper upfront price. Additionally, the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek does not provide any parking assistance features you can expect in the Mazda CX-30.

2023 Mazda CX-30

The Turbo Premium and Turbo Premium Plus trim takes performance to the next level, featuring a Skyactiv®-G 2.5 Turbo engine. It makes 227 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 310 lb-ft. of torque at 2000 rpm. Drivers can also enjoy an MPG of 26/33 for the first five trims and 22/30 for the Turbo Premium and Turbo Premium Plus trims.

2024 Subaru Crosstrek

Offering less impressive speed and performance, the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek features a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine on Base and Premium trims that makes 152 hp at 6,000 rpm and 145 lb-ft. of torque at 4,000 rpm.

The Sport, Limited, and Wilderness trims have a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 182 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 178 lb-ft. of torque at 3,700 rpm. Drivers can also expect an MPG of 34/27 for the Base and Premium, 33/26 for the Sport and Limited, and 29/25 for the Wilderness.
