Serving Colorado Springs & Fort Carson, CO
Mazda's SUV lineup expands for the 2025 model year with the introduction of the Mazda CX-70 and the Mazda CX-70 PHEV, positioned below the Mazda CX-90 in the lineup. While comparable in many aspects, the Mazda CX-70 offers two rows of seats, resulting in a spacious cabin with ample cargo capacity. As these new models hit the scene, you must take a closer look before your next auto purchase.
Performance
The midsize Mazda CX-70 is available with a choice of two gas engines. The 3.3 Turbo trim level boasts a turbocharged 3.3-liter inline-six engine, delivering 280 horsepower, while the 3.3 Turbo S trim level features a modified version of the same engine, delivering 340 horsepower. Opting for the Mazda CX-70 PHEV, you'll enjoy a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine paired with an all-electric motor. Both models come standard with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Appearance
Externally, the Mazda CX-70 and Mazda CX-70 PHEV differ only in the presence of a plug-in charging port on the Mazda CX-70 PHEV variant. Sporting a sporty, tapered roofline, both models exude a contemporary vibe with smooth sides adorned with black molding and a forward air intake. The nose, subtly curved and tall, features LED bar accents angling toward the small LED headlights at the upper corners of the wide grille. Select trims for both models offer additional exterior enhancements like a panoramic sunroof, adaptive and self-leveling headlights, a hands-free power liftgate, up to 21-inch wheels, roof rails, and more.
Features
Features available in the Mazda CX-70 and Mazda CX-70 PHEV vary by trim level, with both models sharing many of the same features. These include a heated steering wheel, premium leather upholstery, a surround-view camera, reverse auto braking, front cross-traffic warning with auto braking, heated front, and rear seats, a digital instrument panel, rear passenger reminder, lane-keeping assistance, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, navigation system, driver's position memory settings, safe exit alert, parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, Amazon Alexa, USB ports for both rows, Pandora, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 12.3-inch central display screen, and more.
