2024 MAZDA CX-90 vs 2024 GMC Acadia

Serving Colorado Springs and Fort Carson, CO

The Mazda CX-90 is an all-new, three-row SUV for the 2024 model year. It joins other midsize SUVs, such as the GMC Acadia, for shoppers to consider. While the Mazda CX-90 and the Acadia are in the same auto class, they differ considerably from bumper to bumper. Before buying your new SUV, what should you know about the 2024 Mazda CX-90 and the 2024 Acadia?

Performance

Three powertrains are offered with the 2024 Mazda CX-90. These include a pair of turbo gas engines as well as a PHEV. The gas engines are a 280-horsepower, turbo V6, 3.3-liter system, and a 340-horsepower variation of this system. These engines come with all-wheel drive as well as an eight-speed auto transmission. The Acadia is offered with a 2.5-liter, turbo four-cylinder engine for all trim levels. This is a 328-horsepower engine that connects to an eight-speed shiftable auto transmission. Lower trim levels have front-wheel drive, while higher trim levels have all-wheel drive.

Appearance

The 2024 Mazda CX-90 is a vision of modern sophistication. Its look is defined by a sloping profile with a tall hood and smoothly flared rear fenders. Chrome accents the side air inlet, the lower door panels, and the wide grille. The grille's accent trends directly into the horizontal LED headlights. The 2024 Acadia, on the other hand, displays a truck-like front-end design, scooped side contouring, and a mid-level belt of dark molding. The grille's rounded sides are flanked by tall, curved LED bars and slender, rectangular headlights.

Features

The features offered in the Mazda CX-90 include quilted leather seats, auto reverse braking, a surround-view camera, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a digital instrument panel, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, a hands-free liftgate, driver seat memory controls, a navigation system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, a head-up display and others. The Acadia's features include a touch display screen, wireless smartphone charging, a digital instrument panel, a hands-free tailgate, a heated steering wheel, and a Bose sound system.
